Professional volleyball team Atlanta Vibe announces HBCU night

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Atlanta’s professional volleyball team will celebrate Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) as part of Black History Month, the team announced.

The Atlanta Vibe will host the HBCU night on Feb. 16 at their game against the Indy Ignite.

HBCU college students can get tickets for $10. The game will include a networking event featuring former Atlanta Hawks player Joe Johnson prior to the match.

The national anthem will be performed by Morehouse College alumni, the Divine Nine fraternities and sororities’ step teams will perform and the Atlanta Ol’ School Drummers will perform at halftime.

Atlanta Vibe games are at the Gas South Arena in Duluth.
