Although she is much higher ranked than Sasnovich, the difference in level is far smaller than the rankings would suggest and this should be quite a close match, decided by a few small details in the most important points.

Katerina Siniakova vs Viktoriya Tomova

Head-to-head: Siniakova 1-0 Tomova

Siniakova had two very hard fought victories to get to this stage, while Tomova eased past Danilovic as an underdog. Going by the level she has shown so far this week and Siniakova’s possible fatigue, Tomova could well create another upset here and make it to the semifinals here. It should still be quite a close match either way.

This all-Italian matchup is extremely unpredictable, with the lack of previous matchups making it even more so. Both players have been playing some great tennis this week and this should be a very high quality contest decided by who manages to hold their nerve better and thus win the key points

Anastasia Potapova vs Ella Seidel

Head-to-head: first meeting

Potapova is the #1 seed of this tournament and has been playing quite well all week, asserting herself as the favorite to take the trophy home. Seidel has been playing at a very high level herself, though, and will certainly make this a very difficult match for Potapova. Like every other quarterfinal, this has the potential to be a quite long and exciting match.
