SC, Selmaville & Sandoval Get Junior High Volleyball Wins

In middle school volleyball, South Central improved to 8-0 with a straight sets win over Patoka (25-11, 25-20). Kyndle Boeln had 3 aces, 3 kills and 3 blocks. The SC JV also improved to 8-0 with their 25-11, 25-16 win. Addie Smith had 2 kills in the win.
Selmaville won their match at Bethel in straight sets 25-15, 25-13. Alli Patrick had 12 service points and 2 aces, Gabby Soostree added 10 points. The Lady Rockets JV won 25-2, 25-15 with Abi McProud serving 12 points and Karmen Murray-Young and Gabby Gaston serving 10 points each. Selmaville will host conference rival Raccoon tomorrow.
Sandoval opened up their season with a sweep of wins at Iuka. The varsity won 25-20, 20-25, 15-11. Adilee Nolte had 10 points in the first set and Avery Hodge and Maddie Hill each had 5. Bailey Benzschawel had 10 points in the 2nd set and Emma Wood and Jamirah Horton led Sandoval in the 3rd. The JV also won 25-20, 25-14. Jamirayh Horton had 15 serves in a row and carried them to the finish line in the second set.
