Perry Central’s Taylan Hoskins signs to Alice Lloyd College Volleyball

PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – Perry Central’s Taylan Hoskins signed her national letter of intent to play volleyball at Alice Lloyd College on Thursday, Feb. 6.
Hoskins learned a variety of skills during her time with Perry Central that she will take with her to the next level.
“I learned about teamwork, leadership, and just working as a group to win games and have fun.”
The senior finished with 1,000 kills as well as 1,000 digs this year. “Its a massive milestone in her career,” said Perry Central Head Volleyball Coach Jess Spurlock.
Coach Spurlock also commented on Hoskins game as well stating, “Taylan is one the smartest playing on the court because she can she can read the court so well.”
Hoskins also talked about how enthused she is to pursue her passion at the next level.
“I’m just excited that I get to take my skills to the next level and that I also get to stay close to home, but still get the college experience,” Hoskins said.
Alice Lloyd Head Volleyball Coach Kayla Moore VanHoose also made an appearance at the signing.
Coach VanHoose expects big things from her newest signee.
“I think she is gonna come in and really do somethings for our program,” VanHoose said.
