Brave Kings Kariya defeated the Golden Wolves Fukuoka to secure the second place in Japan’s handball league H.
The Brave Kings defeated the Golden Wolves 41-24 in the 11th round of the 2024-25 Japanese Men’s Handball League H at Yao Military General Gym Wing in Japan on the 8th.
This kept the Brave Kings in second place with nine wins, one draw and one loss (19 points), while the Golden Wolves finished 12th with two wins and eight losses (4 points).
In the match, Brave Kings led the attack with Naoki Sugioka and Powell Paczkowski scoring five goals each. Hitoshi Watanabe also scored four goals, giving him no support in scoring. Goalkeeper Yoshinori Kato also played in defense with 10 saves.
The Golden Wolves struggled hard with Daisuke Umeoka scoring six goals and Shota Kimura and Koumi Saito scoring three goals each, but they couldn’t overcome the opponent’s strong pressure. Goalkeeper Kohei Daido saved with nine saves, but did not prevent his team’s loss.
Early in the game, the Brave Kings got off to a shaky start, scoring two goals first, but after a quick tie, they scored six goals, including three by Shinya Yamada, to take a 10-5 lead.

The Brave Kings continued their flow in the second half. He scored four goals first, including two by Powell Patskovsky, widening the gap to 12 goals by 24-12. After that, he scored six goals in a row for about seven minutes, widening the gap to 30-13, effectively winning the game.
After that, the Brave Kings did not allow their opponents to fight back and made three consecutive goals, further widening the gap to 33-15 and 36-17. Three goals were conceded at the end of the game, but they finished with a final score of 41-24 to win the game completely.
